I have been saying I have to post on my blog for days and days... but something always came along... Such is life, I guess! But today is the day! Got all my photos uploaded, so let's get started!!
At the end of October, we went to our friends' place in the Outer Banks--in Rodanthe. We spent three days there. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!! They have a cabin close to the beach, not on it. You could see the ocean on the left and the sound on the right--pretty cool. There are lots of 'sounds' along the outer banks, so I think it was Pamlico Sound. Our friends have medical problems, and my husband has to take it easy too... so we didn't get out a lot. But we saw a few things... It was MY first time to the Outer Banks. Without further ado, here are some of my pictures...
I guess I should show some stitching pictures, eh? I have done a little bit of stitching... I try every day. Just doesn't happen.
Now I am working on a Tra La La piece...no picture yet. I THINK that is all that I can show right now. I sent off an exchange and am waiting to hear it was received. I have a few to finish off this weekend. So I shall (hopefully) post again next week.
Time to decorate for Christmas! Lots to do... In between running back and forth to get my husband's vehicle repaired from when I got rearended a couple of weeks back... Still having headaches. Hope they go away. And MY car's heat won't blow out... it gets warm, but if you try to do the dials/blower, it smokes! Ain't doing that!! Gotta get IT fixed... We have found a really GOOD mechanic so it is just a matter of scheduling to get it there and get it done!
I will close with a picture from Halloween... of my local granddaughter, Olivia, and her parents. They have Always dressed up as a family for halloween. She is four this year... wonder how long that will last?
Until next time,
