Well, it is Sunday, but yesterday was so busy... no time to post about this NEW Giveaway! April 9th is 'Name Yourself Day' and to celebrate that, I am having a giveaway, with THREE winners and three prizes! (see below) TO ENTER: 1--you must be a follower; and 2--you must leave a comment describing what you would name yourself and the story behind choosing that name. Name Yourself Day is your chance to give yourself whatever name you'd like...for a day. If you like your name, then change your name for just today. If you don't like your name, use today to select a new name for life! Change your first, or middle, or last name. Or, change them all. Give yourself a cool and catchy nickname.

That's it! If you want to spread the news about this fun Giveaway, that would be okay. The more new names and stories, the merrier! The Drawings will be on April 9th and I will send out the packages the following weekend.

Have Fun and I look forward to reading your comments!

Hugs, Maggee

Oh what fun. I would change my name to Tammy. I always loved the Tammy movies and dreamed of Tammy's in love. Will post at:

What a great giveaway!
I internally name myself Morgana Fillion. It began life as a gaming name, then online persona and it's 'me' as much as my everyday name. :)

Interesting giveaway!

What name would I choose for me? Hmmm....that's a tough one. I don't think I would choose my former D&D name, which was Emerald. I have always liked the name Jessica, so that's the one I would probably choose for me. I'm just thankful I didn't get stuck with Melissa, which is what was almost my name, lol!

What an interesting giveaway.

I actually like my real name just fine and have no plans to change it at all. (It makes a lame excuse for not getting married too!)

I might just give myself the middle name Kyle, just because it's such a boy's name and would surprise people and make them wonder what on earth my parents were thinking lo~

A draw with lovely gifts and fun,
I confess that I like my name, but the second to nothing, so I change it for Sofia.
Thanks for the opportunity in your drawing

What a great giveaway!
I have never considered changing my name as being born on my Grandparents wedding anniversary I was named after my Paternal Grandmother. However, just for the fun on Name Yourself Day I should like to be called Flora - My Mum is a MacDonald so obvioulsy I would take the whole thing and become Flora MacDonald!

Hello Maggee.
I'm from Portugal and I like very much your blog. In Portugal we don't do this kind of changes. It's a great idea.
My name is Alda and it isn't a common name.
But just for one day ,I would like to be called Sarah. It's the name of my daughter. I love this name. It's a princess name and the name of the person I love the most.
Kisses from Alda "SARAH"

I love your post!!!!, I have a story to tell... when I was a child...I didn't like my name... at all, now I do but I like to write it without any capital letter on it, I know it's weird, probably the main thing I didn't like it, was because any of my family or friends called me using nicknames of it, so I'll choose to be called Lettie, and I'll pick the last name I choose in Second Life: Buttons, because I'm a button-holic, I'll be Lettie Buttons, it sounds funny hehehe:D
