Happy After Thanksgiving! Got a few finishes done this past week! Without further ado, let's begin: This is a freebie from Rachie, done on a scrap of Pearl Grey 32-count linen, using CC Cupid thread. LHN's Winter Whites, started 3 years ago, on specially dyed 16-count Aida--Americana Blend by R & R, using DMC colors and substituting crystal-y beads in the border at the bottom (which you can barely see in the picture). This piece was languishing, so I decided to bring it to work and stitch on it during my breaks and occasional lunches. Amazing how much I get done! And the Joy ornament from the 2010 JCS Ornament issue, by Midnight Stitching (??? too lazy to run upstairs and dig it back out!) on 25-count white fabric. NOT my fave! Probably not doing that again anytime soon... **edited to note that this ornament is in the 2009 ornament issue! Well, that's all for now... Getting in the Christmas mood now. Decorations are going to change soon... Hugs.

I put it away in my 'to be framed drawer' and forgot all about it! On Thursday I finished 'Simply Live' by The Primitive Needle. As you can see, I changed all of it--changed the fabric color, and changed the colors. I like it. I did my signature, so to speak, in that I stitched my initials in purple. That is my trademark. I will probably get it framed in December. ttfn. Hugs.
I have been busy stitching, and have some finishes to show. First is a Lizzie Kate finish, that I laced and my husband framed (only because it was a last minute idea to frame!) Gave it to my friend Juanita for her birthday. Next is the finished piece that was included in the 100+ Giveaway that Jules won last week. It was a freebie I found on the web... If I find the designer, I will tell you the name and link. I just mailed it off this past weekend, so she should get the package soon. And then comes a few finishes for my own collection. First is the ONE and ONLY piece I will stitch on 40 count fabric. It is a kit from Little House Needleworks called Pumpkins. I will probably stitch it again, just on a different count fabric. Then comes a Christmas ornie that I really liked--on paper. Not so much now... But a few peoples have said they like it, so you never know where it might end up! It was a freebie, and I will look it up also. Finally, I finished JBW Alphabet Pumpkin. It is sitting on my dresser now... Well, I think that is all. I could be wrong. I know I finished one more, but the fabric is big enough to stitch another next to it, so that is what I am doing. Should be done in a few days. I still have room for one more Pay It Forward person (see previous post Oct. 28th). Just comment here or email me from my profile, to join in the fun! Am tired, going to go relax. Hugs.
