Years ago, my younger sister, Maryanne, sent me this stitched piece to commemorate the birth of my first granddaughter. She commented today that she had given away all her stitching to family and friends, and had nothing to show. So, I sent her a photo of this piece to at least be proof she did something nearly 15 years ago! Isn't it cute? Thanks again Maryanne!
Ugh! It is so hard to get up with an alarm clock now! I am dragging every day! Today is the day to draw the names for the giveaways... I will announce the winners tonight. There is still time to enter! I won't be doing it till around 7 p.m. EST. I stitched a LOT during my vacation... Did 16 new starts!! heheheheheheh... Sounds crazy, but it is actually an impetus to get them done now. AHHH... now you see my logic? But no time tables! Also worked on my three BAPS and completed one piece, which I will also post tonight. (Have to charge the camera) Hugs.

and --wow! It was amazing! I learned things about me that were never really explained in my mind, just accepted. It was recorded and sent to me in an email, so that I can listen to it again and again, to get more out of it than my initial thoughts. Quite the deal! My sister, Catherine, is The Natural Sage, so of course, I trust her and know that this is just one of her many gifts. The day I had it done, I was quite upset about something that happened days back, that I was harboring inside. You know how that is--you feel you cannot tell anyone? Toxic! But I mentioned it to Catherine, and she recommended a Reading. Perfect timing; much help in dealing. You can find out more by visiting her website. I cannot recommend it any more highly, for insight into our many faceted lives. Hugs.

WooHoo! One more day and I am on vacation for 8 glorious days! A STITCHING vacation! Today, while at work, I began making a list of stitching I want to bring. I am pretty excited! Gonna start a Dozen or so new pieces that have been calling to me... heheheheh... work on at least 3 BAPS too... and finish 3 pieces! Ambitious eh? And to share my excitement, I am going to have THREE Grab Bag Giveaways!! The Giveaways will each include 6 charts from my De-Stash pile, along with a piece of mystery fabric from R & R Reproductions! The charts are not new ones, but they are ones I KNOW I will not stitch. (There are charts by Blackbird, Imaginating, Leisure Arts, Paula Vaughn, Pat Rogers, Sue Hillis, TW Designworks, and many others) I might throw in some threads...who knows? So, if you would like to take a chance on these Giveaways, please leave a comment on THIS POST only. (International welcome) Good Luck! Hugs.
