Prairie Schooler WIP

I totally forgot to post the progress picture of my Prairie Schooler Garden Sampler (one of three in the pamphlet). Boy, am I loving this one! Stitched on Winter Brew or Flax, 36-count, with DMC threads. Without further ado...

Gotta run!

Hugs,

Maggee

Looking good! Ahhh..that PS chart brings back memories. Do you know that about 4 years ago that chart was selling on eBay for $45-50?? It was very popular when stitching 'neighborhood' samplers was all the rage and everybody wanted the birdhouse to put on their samplers the way some French stitchers had done.

Love this one and I bet it will be fabulous when you're finished :)

I absolutely LOVE your EM finish in your last post!!!! Are you willing to sell/trade your pattern?

I have this sampler hanging on my dining room wall, along with its companion "Garden Gate" from the same book. It is one of my favorite charts, I remember that it was a joy to stitch. I wish the PS charts today were as pretty, I haven't bought a new one in a long while.

BTW, I've restarted my Sympathetic Threads blog over at WordPress. You were one of my last commenters when I was on Blogger, and I apologize for not getting back to you then. So many life changes caused me to quit stitching for a long time, but I am trying to get back into it now. Visit me at SympatheticThreads.com if you like, you are always welcome!

I just checked on Norden's site and Hoffman and this chart apparently isn't available anymore.
