Before I do a 'Shirlee' ...

Been dealing with a death in my family, so have not been up to blogging. And as you know, when mortality comes near, you start questioning... everything... including what you are stitching! At least for me! And I have been working on a project that I don't really enjoy, that WAS going to be a Christmas present... BUT I have had grave misgivings about gifting it and just am not enjoying it as I should be! Not to mention that I have had to re-do some of it... So, I decided to not stitch it, and instead I will give it to someone who WILL enjoy it! BEFORE I do a 'Shirlee' to it! (For those of you who read Shirlee's blog, you KNOW what that means!!) The design is ABC's of Parenting by Lizzie Kate, and it is only the chart. But... if I get more than one taker, I will do a quick drawing on Wednesday, the 6th, a special day to me!

Gotta run to work! Good luck!

Hugs,

Maggee

Oh how funny!! I'm glad you aren't going to burn it! I don't have any young children at home, so I'll pass on the chart, but I'm sure someone will want it - it's adorable!!

My deepest sympathy for the loss in your family. I'm with you - the loss of someone (and sometimes something) always causes me to reevaluate all areas of my life. I would like to be included in the drawing for this chart. Thank you.

First I want to say how sorry I am to hear of a family death. My condolences to you and your family.

I know what doing a "Shirlee" is!! If you do, please take photos! I think I will pass on the chart because.....I just received your RAK today!!! Thank you so much! It was quite the surprise as I was finishing off my last two reports the door rang...I ran and the mailman presented me with a package!! Big hugs to you!! I can't wait to start the little LHN design!!

Oh, you are funny! So sorry that someone you love isn't near, though you'll never truly "lose" them. I'll pass on the chart as I'm about to start my daughter's graduation remembrance. Plus I have the start of Christmas Rules, you know!

I'm sorry for the loss to your family, Maggee.

Totally with you - don't spend time, effort, and materials on something you're not enjoying!

Please skip me in the drawing.

Oh dear ... am I becoming a legend? Lol! Do not enter me in the drawing ... I just think it's good that you are stopping before doing something drastic : ) You are in my prayers my friend ... So sorry for your loss of a family member.

I'm so sorry about your loss. It does have a way of making you think about things, doesn't it?
I almost sprayed my coffee out when I read about you doing "a Shirlee". I know exactly what that is. My "Shirlee" involved a paper shredder though. Oh that felt goooood!!!

Good for you on passing the piece on. I'm sure someone will appreciate it very much.
