Finish #2!

I finished this little cutie tonight--called Swirly Heart by Waxing Moon Designs. I used a scrap of white 32-count belfast linen and Weeks Aztec Red thread. I thought about stitching it again, but we shall see. Meanwhile I moved on to another small. It is all I can concentrate on right now... Layoffs and cuts in benefits at work are making me uneasy! Won't be stitching at work anymore... sad face... Plus the person that was diagnosed with chicken pox last Thursday was back at work today? Hello??? Was that a long enough break? One work day and a weekend??

Hugs,

Maggee

Lovely finish - I'm a push over for hearts.
Sorry to hear of the troubles at work. No way is that enough time off for chicken pox they will still be contagious.

lovely finish. Sorry about work worries...and re: the pox, you are can be contagious before the spots are even out and stop being contagious once they dry up lol...not disappear...just dry. Hope it helps

Very pretty! Love the swirls!

I got chicken pox when I was 11 because someone sent their still contagious kid to school.

Your Swirly Heart is lovely. I really like the color thread. Is that what the chart called for? I'll have to look that one up.
I'm sorry about the work situation.
Chicken Pox? Oh my! That doesn't sound like enough time but, maybe so???

Oh, this is cute!

An adult with chicken pox? From what I remember from the kids - unless the blisters are scabbed completely over - stay home.

Congrats on your finish! It's too cute. Sorry about your work worries. Seems like way too many people in the world are worried about their jobs.

Pretty finish, Maggee. Sorry to hear about the stressful times at work. I guess the chicken pox person was fearful of being out too long. I would think they're still carrying... Hang in, and keep stitching!

Very pretty. I totally understand the work stress. They are talking about furloughs at my work. Hang in there!

What a pretty finish! Love the color. Sorry to hear about the work situation - I kind of know the feeling. I'm not sure about the chicken pox, but it does sound a little soon?? :)

Beautiful heart Maggee!! Too bad to hear about the layoffs and cuts :( That must make the work environment a bit down and sad. That person should have been able to stay in bed at least an extra day.

I just love this finish! Hearts have always been my absolute favorites!! Sorry about the tension at your job - fingers crossed for you! (Re: the chickenpox? I've stayed out longer with a paper-cut! LOL Just kidding...but that does sound like an awfully short recoup time)
