The Answer is... and New 200+ Giveaway!!

Now, mind you, the riddle was from my middle granddaughter, who is 13, and I didn't get it either!! So, 'When does a star lose it's meaning?' 'When it is Pointless!' I am sorry no one got it... So, let's have another go at the Giveaway, shall we?!!

To Enter the NEW 200+ Giveaway, you must be a current follower, with an active Blog yourself, and you must comment on this post only! So, this will be a random drawing to pick the winner, but... I would really enjoy it if you would share your favorite piece that you have stitched! The name and designer would be perfect! Good luck!

And Thanks for sticking with me through all this time. Normally I would be posting lots more, but I still feel bad, bad, bad. I would get home from work, do dinner, and crash. Plus it didn't help that I went in to work early every day to make up time for doctor appointments, so worked 9 hours instead of 8 each day! But don't get me started about doctors!! Pffft!! This weekend I don't have much scheduled, so am going to play catch up on this blog. Be prepared for picture-heavy posts!

Hugs,

Maggee

I would love to be entered. Wow, it is hard to choose just one project but I guess for me it would be A.S.A.P by Imaginating.

4 years ago I stitched it for my Aunt who was diagnoised with stage 4breast cancer. I finished it into a pillow and was able to give it to her 3 weeks before she passed away. We placed it with her when she passed on.

My second would have to be a birth sampler I stitched for my little cousin. American Baby by Willow Hill Samplings

I think my favorite finished project has got to be my BOAF Happy Hearts Sampler. I stitched it back in 2008, but just went back in the last couple of days to change something on it. There's just something about the colors and whimsical design.

AHAHAH!!! Good point from your granddaughter :D So I'm trying my luck again, and my favourite pieces that I've stitched so far are the "Witches of Booville" from Stoney Creek, you can see a picture of it on my blog (I've made a post in October regarding her :D) and the Mistery Project that I've been working on that is QS Reflections 2 from HAED that I stitched as a birthday gift to give to my mum this month :D...
I hope you start feeling better pretty soon and I can't wait for your picture-heavy post :D

So sorry you're still feeling poorly! Hope you're catching up on some relaxation this weekend with stitching YOUR favorites. And speaking of favorites - that's SO hard... I love, love the cardinal I stitched from BBD 'Tis the Season - given away as ornament, but a BBD piece I still have is Winter Wonderland. Take care.

When it's pointless! Ha!
My most favorite recent finish is "I Sew'd My Heart" by Heartstring Samplery, on which I put my grandfather's sister's name - she was only four when she died. This became my memorial to her.

What a cute joke. Young ones always seems to have several in their pockets. One of my many favorites that I have stitched in the last year has been the Red House ornament from LIttlehouse and the other favorite is The Thomas Kinkade Bacon of Hope.

Hi Maggee stumbled on your blog by way of Kathy's Stitching and other Comments. Sorry to hear you are not feeling well, and doctors can be such a pain :@
You ask such a hard question, cause everything 'we' stitch has to be special in some way. I always loved Graeme Ross Originals, they are so detailed, realistic and Australian. His Green Tree Frog is such a fav, and he 'Wimbledon' hangs right at my front door. The last 18 months has been about re-igniting my love of cross stitch and through the internet, I have been gravitating towards American designers, LHN, CCN, and PSS, and samplers.
Lovely blog, happy to be a new follower.

My favourite piece is a Hummel Design - Land In Sight. It was lovely to stitch and finished it looks wonderful. What makes it more special is that my grandma gave it to me and now it lives up there.

I'm sorry to hear you're still feeling so bad, Maggee. It must be exhausting to have to go to work when you're so ill...Hope you're managing to get some rest this weekend.

My favorite finish is probably BBD's Something Sweet which I finished for my very best friend in the world--my mother :)

Congratulations on 200+ followers and tell your granddaughter what a great riddle she posed for us!

I would love to enter your giveaway, please!

I hope you will feel better soon. Health does bring us down - last year I had to have an urgent heart surgery, because of a severe coronary problem. All went well and still is, as my 2 by passes are doing ok. But the consequences of such an operation are still there: bone aches, immune system down, getting tired very quickly, etc. which prevents me from stitching or blogging more - when we don't feel well, it's not easy.

One of my favourite pieces is D Cockin, Ackworth School, from Needleprint which I finished a few months ago.

I think my favourite would have to be The Petal Fairy from Mirabilia.

Please enter me into your draw.

Hey Maggee - as you know I do love Brightneedle, but my favorite stitch and the sampler I think is the prettiest that I have finished so far is the English Sampler by Sandy Orton for Treasures in Needlework Magazine (you can have a peek at it on my about-once-a-week-active blog... LOL)

My favourite finished stitched piece so far is "Butterfly Forest" by Dimensions Gold. The only reason it's my current favourite is because I know how very much my mom loves it, and it makes all of the work I put into it worthwhile.
